This is what the manufacturer says about the parka:
All our garments are made from waste fabrics to minimize environmental impact. Outer and inner fabrics are from waste material, while the insulating material is newly manufactured, but 70% of its material is recycled.
We strive to build products that become favorites. We dare say that the Pullover Parkase will be one of your favorites. There have been hot parkas and anoraks before, there is nothing new. But the basic problem of colds on the chest is a recurring problem that is a challenge to solve. We solved it with double hoods on the Anorak, an inner flexible that can be used in moderate cold, while the outer is used in addition when it gets really cold or windy.
The result is an air gap on the chest that eliminates colds. The advantage of an anorak compared to a regular jacket is that you do not get a cold bridge along the zipper, which is especially important in strong winds or severe cold. The fit is wide and it is long. So long that it comes under your butt when you sit down.
The anorak has two large insulated hand pockets with bellows, where you can warm your hands, store extra gloves or other things you need to have easy access to. Zippers on the side of the parka help with putting on and putting on weight and release excess heat in a simple way so that it can be used even when it is not so cold. Via that zipper, you can also reach the layer under the anorak, for example a jacket pocket if you use it as a reinforcement garment during a break.
The outer storm hood is fully adjustable and has a copper wire that helps keep the shape of the hood when it blows. The sleeve end is adjusted with elastic cord and can be made so small that you can basically close the sleeve completely, also a perfect way to get the heat in your hands.
We develop products for our own climate. With us it can be 25 degrees cold at night, to then become plus degrees and rain 12 hours later. That is why we choose Primaloft® wadding, waterproof fabric and taped seams. Using waterproof fabric and taped seams may seem unnecessary when it is very cold, but it helps to make the garment completely windproof. Cooling effect from strong winds in minus degrees becomes noticeable in clothes that are not 100% windproof.
